AMIR GERON:

Arrival of Common Swifts in Ramat Aviv, Israel in 2005

The Common Swifts returned to Ramat Aviv, a suburban in the North of Tel Aviv, on 19 Feb.  I counted 6 individuals. I had not seen any on the previous days. They disappeared again until 2 March, but on 3 March there were about 20 individuals circling above the houses where they probably breed. By 6 March the group had increased to 30.
