The Common Swifts who returned to Ramat Aviv, between 19th Feb (6 birds) and 6th March (30 birds) left the area on 8th June. I counted the last ones (about 20 birds) on 7th and 8th June, but saw none thereafter.
This makes for a stay of 110 days when one counts from the first sighting, and 95 days when one counts from the arrival of the largest number of birds. |
